Phoenix Public Library Hosts an Evening with Author Chang-rae Lee

Burton Barr Central Library will host a free reading and signing with author Chang-rae Lee from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 1221 N. Central Ave.
Lee is the author of “Native Speaker,” “A Gesture Life,” “Aloft” and the upcoming novel “The Surrendered.”
Lee, a first-generation Korean-American, was educated at Phillips Exeter Academy, Yale University and the University of Oregon. He is a professor in the University Center for Creative and Performing Arts at Princeton University.
The author reading is presented by Phoenix Public Library and The Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing at Arizona State University as part of Arizona State University’s 2008-09 Distinguished Visiting Writers Series.
