Lion’s Den Scottsdale Adds New Talent Facility’s Elite Training Team

Scottsdale, AZ. – Lion’s Den Scottsdale is proud to announce that Carlos Eduardo Farias has joined Ken Shamrock’s elite training team. Farias came to the U.S. from Fortaleza, Ceara and boasts 15 years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) experience. He will be teaching BJJ Gi classes twice a day at Lion’s Den Scottsdale.

The Lion’s Den is one of the most coveted and talked about training facilities in the world. I am looking forward to working with the students and taking them to the next level,” states Farias.
 
Farias, with a professional MMA record of 2-0, is a Black Belt in BJJ and trained under MMA veteran Roberto Spider Traven. Traven, a 5th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was the 1999 Abu Dhabi Absolute Champion and has taken first place twice in the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Under Traven’s instruction, Farias placed 2nd in the Pan Am Games and 3rd in the World Jiu-Jitsu Championships.
