PHOENIX, Ariz – Time to start thinking about free food, free 10-minute massages, lots of live music, kids’ games, jumping castles, free tree giveaways, great raffle prizes and all the best Arizona has to offer.  It’s the 4th Annual Certified Local Fall Festival, presented by Local First Arizona. Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 1st at Duck and Decanter on 16th Street and Camelback.

“The Local First Fall Festival is a day to celebrate Arizona. Arizona’s local business community has so many gems! This is a day to come out and see the best of the best. It’s a fun day for the whole family with live music, free food, and fun kids’ stuff,” says Local First Director, Kimber Lanning.  “This is a day for people who believe in local economies, and who have chosen to support locally owned businesses, to come out and celebrate the results.”

Local First member businesses will assemble as vendors, sponsors, and volunteers with interactive booths, goodie bags, promotional tents and more.  Businesses on board so far include Duck and Decanter, Changing Hands Bookstore, Spinato’s Pizza, Souvia Tea, La Grande Orange, Kidstop Toystore and Samurai Comics, just to name a few.

This year, Local First Arizona anticipates more than 3,000 festival-goers. Last year, Spinato’s Pizza went through 1,400 slices of pizza.  Five hundred promotional “Goodie Bags” will go to the first guests to arrive. Past trinkets include BedMart sleep masks, magnets, great coupons and more. There’s fun for everyone with a kids’ jumping castle, face painting, friendly reptile visitors from the Phoenix Zoo, an exciting raffle and live local music. Lanning states, “We have all kinds of cool stuff to give away, so drop by and enter to win.”

Local businesses interested in participating should contact Local First Arizona at 602-956-0909. Mark your calendar today and bring your friends.
