SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Farmers Insurance agent Ed Tobin is hosting an auction benefiting the March of Dimes tonight, Friday July 18 2008 at Frasher’s Steakhouse, located at 2122 N. Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale, AZ.

The auction will include over 20 works from world renowned sculptor Mark Breithaupt.

The auction begins at 4:00 pm and runs until 8:00 pm.  The cost to attend is $10.00 dollars, which includes a happy hour buffet and an entry to the drawing for door prizes.

“Each year thousands of babies are born too soon,” said Farmers Agent Ed Tobin.  “This is our way of working to give all babies the best start possible.”

Members of the Police Officers of Scottsdale Association will also be attending the auction to receive 50 Police Teddy Bears compliments of Farmers Insurance Group.

Last year Farmers agents, district managers and employees raised $2.7 million dollars during its “Be A Hero for Babies” day, the largest single day fundraiser in March of Dimes history.  Since 2005, Farmers Insurance Group has been one of the top contributors to the March of Dimes.
