Operation fill-a-back-pack underway for community youth in need

Mesa, AZ – A New Leaf is now accepting donations of school supplies and back packs for the children served by their emergency shelters and residential programs. Donations will be distributed to the children residing at the Faith House and Autumn House Domestic Violence Shelters, La Mesita Family Homeless Shelter, and the Residential Treatment Centers for youth who attend A New Leaf’s William K. Eaton School in Mesa.
Needed items include paper supplies, binders, notebooks, journals, folders, back packs, writing tools, clay and art supplies, pocket dictionary and thesaurus, washable markers, highlighters, glue sticks, colored pencils, black pens, pencils, crayons, masking and scotch tape, copy paper and inexpensive calculators. Gift cards are appreciated for hair cuts and shoes.
