Mesa, Ariz. – Canyon Communications, a Mesa-based, full-service marketing communications firm, seeks to adopt a Valley non-profit client. Canyon Communications will donate its advertising and public relations services to the selected non-profit organization free-of-charge for one year.

“This is the fourth year we have made this opportunity available to Valley non-profit organizations,” said Nancy Landl, president, Canyon Communications. “Each year we receive an unbelievable response from non-profits looking for assistance in the development and execution of marketing projects or special events. It’s an incredible opportunity for Canyon Communications to give back to our community.”

The selected non-profit organization will receive advertising and public relations services, based on the organization’s needs, from Canyon Communications free-of-charge for one year. In the past, Canyon has provided pro bono services for several Valley non-profits including Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, Animal’s Benefit Club no-kill animal sanctuary, AngelCare health clinic and St. Joseph the Worker employment services for the homeless.

The deadline to submit an application is Monday, September 1, 2008. Each applicant must be classified as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and can request an application by contacting Megan Reisig at 480.775.8880 or mreisig@canyoncomm.com.  Judging will be completed by a team of agency employees who will evaluate each application based on the organization’s goals and objectives, services requested and financial information provided by each organization.
