High Gas Prices, War & the Economy Lead to Home-Cocooning & Style Shift In Home Decor

The economy.  The public has recently been plagued with stories that are contributing to a the phenomenon of ” home-cocooning”.  According to a study by the University of Toronto, cocooning is a rise of people spending more time at home rather than going out to socialize.  People see their homes as places of peace and refuge from the world and despite the downturn in the economy, spending on quality home furnishings is up.
