Mayor’s Breakfast Focuses on Building a Better Mesa

The City of Mesa invites the public to the Mayor’s Breakfast on Tuesday, July 8 at the Mesa Convention Center from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. The breakfast focuses on Mesa city government’s role in our community’s economic development and is presented by the Mesa Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Mesa Chamber of Commerce.
“The long term goal is to build a city where residents can reach their career goals and non-residents, businesses and investors want to locate,” Mayor Scott Smith said. “This is a challenging time for every community, but I am optimistic about the opportunities that lie ahead for Mesa.”
There will be three speakers including Mayor Scott Smith, City Manager Chris Brady and Economic Development Director Bill Jabjiniak. Topics include an update of economic development opportunities in Mesa and an introduction of specific initiatives city government will be undertaking to facilitate successful business and economic development in Mesa.
