New Fertility Clinic Opens in Phoenix Arizona; Provides Couples Alternative to IVF Treatment

The American Medical College of Homeopathy located off of 20th Avenue and Camelback in Phoenix Arizona recently opened the doors to its new fertility research clinic. The clinic works one-on-one with couples experiencing difficulty conceiving and who are searching for a gentler, more affordable alternative to in vitro fertilization and traditional methods.
According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), infertility affects about 6.1 million American men and women representing 1 in 7 couples in their childbearing years. Using alternative methods such as herbal, homeopathic and oriental medicine including acupuncture treatments, more couples are researching and resorting to natural fertility methods. Features and benefits of natural fertility include:
- A safer, gentler approach when compared to in vitro fertilization which may cause severe side effects, ovarian stimulation, multiple pregnancy and ectopic pregnancy.
- Considerably less expensive than in vitro fertilization which can cost up anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000 according to web site pregnancy.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Cost_of_In_Vitro_Fertilization
- A six-month treatment package consisting of an initial consultation and evaluation, 24 weekly acupuncture treatments, and six monthly herbal and homeopathic medicine treatments costs $3,500.
- A strong focus on patient-centered medicine in which patients are treated and supported on all levels of their being including physical, emotional, mental and spiritual dimensions throughout the conception process.
Studies conducted on natural fertility, particularly acupuncture, found that acupuncture is especially effective in treating things like endometriosis, ovulatory problems, hormone imbalances in women, and erectile dysfunction and low sperm count in men.
“After having a miscarriage in August 2007, I had not had a regular menstrual cycle when a co-worker recommended I try acupuncture to help balance out my menstrual cycle. I first visited Dr. Kovalik in December 2007 and continued to see her once a week to maintain healthy balance in my cycle. In late January, I became pregnant and have maintained a healthy pregnancy. We are expecting our first baby this October. We are very excited and believe that our pregnancy is a blessing,” said Nicole Burnes of Phoenix.
The American Medical College of Homeopathy is currently seeking participants for a research study on natural fertility. Ideal candidates are couples with fertility issues who are looking for more natural and less expensive alternatives to conventional therapies and those who have failed conventional infertility treatment such as in vitro fertilization. Congratulations to the American Medical College of Homeopathy for their forward thinking venture. I’m especially impressed that it’s a 6 month program, as that is the minimum amount of time that is necessary to insure that both eggs and sperm are properly nourished.
I will definitely keep this college on my list of referrals for when online readers contact me for a natural fertility program in Phoenix.
