Vision Kidz Workshops for Fall and Winter 2008

Chandler, AZ – The Vision Gallery proudly presents the Vision Kidz Art Workshop series for Fall and Winter 2008, sponsored by Desert Viking, Arizona Commission on the Arts and the Downtown Chandler Community Partnership. The series offers thirty new worskshops designed to inspire creativity in students from six through fourteen years old.

Workshops included in this season are:  Power Bead Bracelets with artist Christy Puetz, Pop-Up Card Books with Barbara Burton, Ceramic Mask Making with James Yoder and Laura McCarthy, Solar Imagery with Cheryl Jones, Shadow Puppets with Candee Lewis and many more. You won’t want to miss the 11^th year of Vision Gallery’s annual Vision Kidz Ornament Painting Class on December 6^th, or the workshops offered during our Dia de Los Muertos Festival in downtown Chandler on November 1^st.

All regular workshops are taught on Saturdays with a choice of one of two class sessions, the first from 10:00 AM – Noon, and the second from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. A parent or guardian is required to attend the workshop with each student. Classes are free, but registration is required. Registration opens on Thursday, August 7^th, 2008 at 9:00 AM.

Gallery Hours:  Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM,  Saturday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM,  Closed Sundays.
