Miracles in Motion Marathon information sessions begin in June & July. Runners and walkers of all experience levels are invited to join Miracles in Motion, a marathon training team raising funds to benefit programs and services at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Miracles in Motion team members receive professional coaching and training, and raise $1,500 or more to support Hospital programs in need. Additionally, each athlete is paired with a Phoenix Children’s patient and encouraged to compete in the 2009 P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon and ½ Marathon on January 18th, on the child’s behalf. Three information sessions will be held in June & July and are open to the public.

2008 Information Sessions are June 20, 2008 from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm; July 7, 2008 from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm and July 14, 2008 from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Phoenix Children’s Hospital – Melvin L. Cohen Conference Center (Building E), 1919 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85016.

About Phoenix Children’s Hospital
Phoenix Children’s Hospital is Arizona’s only licensed children’s hospital, providing world-class care in more than 40 pediatric specialties to our state’s sickest kids. Though Phoenix Children’s is one of the ten largest freestanding children’s hospitals in the country, rapid population growth in Arizona means the Hospital must grow as well.  Phoenix Children’s recently announced a $588 million expansion plan to bring its special brand of family-centered care to even more patients and families. The plan includes a significant upgrade of the Hospital’s current campus, an aggressive physician recruitment effort, and new satellite centers in high growth areas of the Valley.
