May 27th Planet Mercury is going Retrograde – don’t sign those papers!
May 21, 2008 · Published By Albert Clayton Gaulden
On May 27th 2008 the planet Mercury is going retrograde, a phenomenon which signals not a good time to sign legal documents, start new projects—and you better check out all things mechanical from your air conditioner, computer and the automobile you depend on to get you from point A to B. Electricity is rules by Mercury so if you live in an ‘hotter than hell’ palazzo like I do in Sedona, tend to your air conditioner before you lose your cool. And no matter how ragged and rough Bubba or Wanda has become through your long and troubled marriage, stay put for a few weeks. Do not go to Judge Judy’s divorce court or get married in the Elvis Pressley chapel in Las Vegas under Mercury retrograde. Put off elective surgery—never rehab your house under these menacing Mercury times either.
Okay, so what can you do that can keep you out of trouble and lolling in the pink? It is a good time to review your financial red ink, do some spring cleaning—it’s okay to peruse your game plan and see where you need to plug holes or perhaps even start over. But wait for more fortuitous times to begin the make-over.
There is a cardinal rule in astrology that most of us break, but for those of you trained to live life on life’s terms—dot all i’s and cross your t’s—things begin to act like Mercury is in retrograde a week before it happens and even a week after Mercury goes direct in motion. That means you better start today to make adjustments in the areas I have mentioned above. Mercury goes direct on June 19th but you had better wait until June 26th to feel like your world is back on track and normal again.
And always remember the Gaulden Rule: Whatever you do, right or wrong, you must take responsibility for your actions. God is an equal opportunity Creator—it rains on the just and the unjust. When I am dealt lemons granny told me to make lemon meringue pies, and that I have done with the proof on my waist. But a little extra weight is better than getting resentments any day.
